When a building comes down in a dense city, what usually remains is a sort of tattoo or scar on the remaining surrounding structures. I have heard these referred to as "Living Sections", wherein you are left with a fragmented sectional view of the former building attached to another.
This is an ongoing photographic project of the Living Sections that I have found and continue to find in Toronto.
